Neil Brook Johnson (born 26 July 1967) is a British film and music video producer, director and editor best known for his long association with heavy metal band Manowar, and for directing and writing science fiction films. Early life Born in Southampton, England, Johnson emigrated to Australia at the age of five. At the age of 20, he became the youngest (paid) director in Australia. Johnson's lengthy career includes stints as producer, director, editor, cinematographer, and production manager. Beginning his career as a camera assistant, Neil was obsessed with Science Fiction, and would spend his spare time making short films. His first 40 music videos were made for free before he started earning a living. Career To date, Johnson has made over 500 music videos for bands like Manowar, U2, Rammstein and Rhapsody of Fire. Neil A. Johnson (born April 17, 1943) is an American former basketball player born in Jackson, Michigan. A 6'7" forward/center from Creighton University, Johnson played four seasons in the National Basketball Association (NBA) as a member of the New York Knicks (1966–1968) and Phoenix Suns (1968–1970), then spent three seasons (1970–1973) in the American Basketball Association with the Virginia Squires. He averaged 6.9 points and 5.3 rebounds per game in his professional career and appeared in the 1971 ABA All-Star Game. Known as an "enforcer", Johnson is remembered in the ABA oral history book '' Loose Balls'' for punching Warren Jabali in a game between the Virginia Squires and Denver Rockets. Referee John Vanak called the punch "the most devastating punch e'dever seen on the court". Neil Johnson (volleyball)
Neil Johnson is a Canadian former volleyball player who competed for Canada in the men's standing volleyball event at the 2000 Summer Paralympics, where he won a silver medal. He was then the captain of Team Canada for three consecutive World Championship gold medals in 2002, 2004 and 2006. In 2003, he and his 2000 and 2002 teammates were inducted into the Volleyball Canada Hall of Fame. Born missing his left arm below the elbow, he was one of the few disabled players to complete at the highest levels of able-bodied volleyball. He played for the varsity teams at Mount Royal University and the University of Calgary, and he began playing professionally in Bonn, Germany, in 2004.
