Naan Petha Magane
''Naan Petha Magane'' () is a 1995 Indian Tamil-language drama film directed by V. Sekhar. The film stars Manorama, Nizhalgal Ravi, Radhika and Urvashi. It was released on 15 January 1995. Although initially received with some protest, the film went on to become a major hit at the box office. It won the Tamil Nadu State Film Award for Best Film Portraying Woman in Good Light. Manorama (Tamil Actress)
Gopishantha (26 May 1937 – 10 October 2015), better known by her stage name Manorama, also called Aachi, was an Indian actress, comedian and playback singer who had appeared in more than 1000 films and 5000 stage performances predominantly in the Tamil and also in Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, and Sinhala. She was honoured with Kalaimamani award in 1995. In 2002, Government of India awarded Manorama the Padma Shri for her contribution to the arts. Theni Kunjarammal (died 18 April 2008) was an Indian actress and playback singer who has worked in the Tamil film industry. As a playback singer, she has worked extensively with A. R. Rahman during the late 1990s and early 2000s for folk songs, while also regularly collaborating with Harris Jayaraj.
