''My Melody'' is the debut album by American rapper Queen Pen, released on December 16, 1997 by Lil' Man Records, a distribution by Interscope Records and was executive produced by Teddy Riley. Queen Pen
Lynise Walters (born 1972), known professionally as Queen Pen, is an African American rapper, record producer, and novelist. Born in Brooklyn New York, she was discovered by record producer Teddy Riley at a local iHop restaurant in Virginia Beach. Riley later invited her to "spit lyrics" for Blackstreet's " No Diggity" 1996 hit. Riley produced her debut album, '' My Melody'' (1997) and she coproduced her second album '' Conversations with Queen'' (2001) with Kedar Massenburg. Career Her music career launched after she became a protégé of Teddy Riley, a record producer and member of the R&B group Blackstreet in the mid-1990s. Wreckx-n-Effect (originally Wrecks-n-Effect) is an American new jack swing group from Harlem, New York City most known for their No. 1 Rap songs, "New Jack Swing" & their multi-platinum hit " Rump Shaker". History Wrecks-n-Effect was founded in 1988 by Aqil Davidson, Markell Riley and Brandon "B-Doggs" Mitchell. A fourth member: Keith "K.C." Philip James Bailey (born May 8, 1951) is an American R&B, soul, gospel and funk singer, songwriter and percussionist, best known as an early member and one of the two lead singers (along with group founder Maurice White) of the band Earth, Wind & Fire.
