Andreas Musculus
Andreas Musculus (also Andreas Meusel; 29 November 1514 – 29 September 1581) was a German Lutheran theologian and Protestant reformer. The name Musculus is a Latinized form of Meusel. Musculus was born in Schneeberg, "generally called only Musculus" and educated in Leipzig and Wittenberg. He became professor at the university of Frankfurt an der Oder. As a theologian he was Gnesio-Lutheran and wrote polemics against the Interim, Andreas Osiander the Elder, Franciscus Stancarus, Philipp Melanchthon and John Calvin. Musculus was one of the co-authors of the Formula of Concord. He was also one of the most remarkable defenders of Eucharistic adoration in early Lutheranism. Heinrich Musculus
Heinrich Wilhelm Augustus Musculus (10 December 1868 – 10 December 1949) was a Swedish-Norwegian businessperson. He was born in Germany, but hailed from Scania, and took education as a cement technician and construction engineer. He emigrated to Kristiania in Norway at the age of 22. After working one year in Slemmestad Fabrikker he started his own company in 1891. Among others, his company ''Christiania Cementstøperi, H. Musculus'' constructed a drydocks for Akers Mekaniske Verksted and a grain silo at Vippetangen. The company also traded in building tools, until 1923 when this business area was delegated to the company ''Christiania Cementstøperi, P. Paaske''. He also owned the company Korkindustri with a factory in Gamlebyen, but it burned down in 1934. Musculus co-founded the employers' association ''Entreprenørenes Landssammenslutning'' in 1910, and chaired it for the first ten years. Wolfgang Musculus
Wolfgang Musculus, born "Müslin" or "Mauslein", (10 September 1497 – 30 August 1563) was a Reformed theologian of the Reformation. Life Born in the village of Duss (Moselle), in a German-speaking area (French-speaking, from the Thirty Years War), Musculus was a lover of song and of knowledge, of languages, Humanism and religion. The oral tradition of his songs is still found in the churches of the Reformation. In 1527, he left the Benedictine monastery at Lixheim (now in the area of Moselle), to serve as deacon of the Cathedral of Our Lady of Strasbourg (french: link=no, Cathédrale Notre-Dame-de-Strasbourg) and preaching assistant to Matthäus Zell while studying under Bucer and Capito. He left for Augsburg in 1531, and after 17 years of service, he left the town after the introduction of the Augsburg Interim, and came to Switzerland, where he was the primary professor of theology at Bern from 1549. Blue Whale
The blue whale (''Balaenoptera musculus'') is a marine mammal and a baleen whale. Reaching a maximum confirmed length of and weighing up to , it is the largest animal known to have ever existed. The blue whale's long and slender body can be of various shades of greyish-blue dorsally and somewhat lighter underneath. Four subspecies are recognized: ''B. m. musculus'' in the North Atlantic and North Pacific, ''B. m. intermedia'' in the Southern Ocean, ''B. m. brevicauda'' (the pygmy blue whale) in the Indian Ocean and South Pacific Ocean, ''B. m. indica'' in the Northern Indian Ocean.
