Motion
In physics, motion is the phenomenon in which an object changes its position with respect to time. Motion is mathematically described in terms of displacement, distance, velocity, acceleration, speed and frame of reference to an observer and measuring the change in position of the body relative to that frame with change in time. The branch of physics describing the motion of objects without reference to its cause is called kinematics, while the branch studying forces and their effect on motion is called dynamics. If an object is not changing relative to a given frame of reference, the object is said to be ''at rest'', ''motionless'', ''immobile'', '' stationary'', or to have a constant or time-invariant position with reference to its surroundings. Modern physics holds that, as there is no absolute frame of reference, Newton's concept of '' absolute motion'' cannot be determined. Geoff Muldaur
Geoff Muldaur (born August 12, 1943) is an American active singer, guitarist and composer, who was a founding member of the Jim Kweskin Jug Band and a member of Paul Butterfield's Better Days. Career Having established a reputation with the Kweskin Jug Band during the 1960s, Geoff and his then wife Maria Muldaur recorded their first album, ''Pottery Pie'', for Warner Bros. Records in 1968. this album contained his version of "Brazil" (" Aquarela do Brasil"), which became the theme for the film ''Brazil'' (1985) directed by Terry Gilliam. After recording the album, the Muldaurs moved to Woodstock, New York. They separated in 1972, shortly after Geoff Muldaur joined Paul Butterfield's Better Days band. After leaving the Butterfield band in 1976, Muldaur recorded an album with Amos Garrett, and ''Geoff Muldaur and the Nite Lites'' for Hannibal Records. Motion (gridiron Football)
In gridiron football, motion refers to the movement of an offensive player at the time of the snap. While there are different rules regarding motion, most mandate that no more than one player may be in motion at the time of the snap, and the player must not be an offensive lineman (typically, the player in motion is a wide receiver or running back). Additionally, the NFL (professional), NCAA (college), and NFHSAA (high school) require that they be moving laterally or backwards; they are not allowed to be moving towards the line of scrimmage when the ball is snapped. The Canadian Football League and the Arena Football League allow for motion towards the line of scrimmage at the time of the snap. Sir Andrew Motion (born 26 October 1952) is an English poet, novelist, and biographer, who was Poet Laureate from 1999 to 2009. Alice Elizabeth Motion (born Alice Williamson, 28 October 1984) is a British chemist, science communicator, and associate professor at the School of Chemistry, University of Sydney. She is the founder of the Breaking Good project which encourages high school and undergraduate students to take part in research that can benefit human health. ''Alter the Ending'' is the sixth studio album recorded by American rock band Dashboard Confessional, released through Vagrant, DGC and Interscope Records on November 10, 2009. ''Care Package'' is the first compilation album by Canadian rapper Drake. It was released on August 2, 2019 by OVO Sound and Republic Records. The compilation consists of songs released between 2010 and 2016 that were initially unavailable for purchase or commercial streaming. The compilation features guest appearances from J. Cole, Rick Ross, and James Fauntleroy and additional vocals by Sampha and Beyoncé.
