Mitchell Hanson
Mitchell Gene Ben Hanson (born 2 September 1988) is an English former professional footballer who played as a defender. He spent 2006 to 2011 at Derby County, playing on loan at Port Vale and Notts County, before signing with Eastwood Town via Oxford United in 2011, where he became joint-caretaker manager in October 2012. He moved to Gresley in the summer of 2013. Club career Born in Derby, Derbyshire, Hanson had extensive reserve team experience and made his debut for the reserve team whilst a schoolboy. Hanson's first taste of the first-team at Derby was appearing as an unused substitute in the 5–0 defeat away to Reading in April 2006. Hanson, who graduated through the academy, signed his first professional contract with Derby in June 2007. Derby ( ) is a city and unitary authority area in Derbyshire, England. It lies on the banks of the River Derwent in the south of Derbyshire, which is in the East Midlands Region. Northern Premier League Division One South
The Northern Premier League is an English football league that was founded in 1968. It has four divisions: the Premier Division (which stands at level 7 of the English football league system), Division One East, Division One West and Division One Midlands (which stand at level 8). Geographically, the league covers all of Northern England and the northern/central areas of the Midlands, and western parts of East Anglia. Originally a single-division competition, a second division was added in 1987: Division One, and in 2007 a third was added when Division One split into two geographic sections - Division One North and Division One South. John Ramshaw
John Ramshaw is a football coach and non-league manager. He is the assistant-manager of Kettering Town. Career Ramshaw began his career in 1978. His first opportunity to coach was with the youth team at Notts County, from 1978 until 1983. He gained his English FA Full Licence (UEFA A Licence equivalent) in 1981. In 1984 Ramshaw joined Shepshed Charterhouse as player-coach in the Southern Premier League. Struggling in the bottom three when he joined them Shepshed finished in fifth place, narrowly missing out on promotion to the Football Conference. The following year Ramshaw returned to the professional game with Nottingham Forest looking after their Associate Schoolboy programme for two years. 2011–12 Football Conference
The 2011–12 Football Conference season was the eighth season in which the Football Conference consisted of three divisions and the thirty-third season overall. The Conference covers the top two levels of Non-League football in England. The Conference Premier is the fifth highest level of the overall pyramid, whilst the Conference North and Conference South exist at the sixth level. Promotion And Relegation
In sports leagues, promotion and relegation is a process where teams are transferred between multiple divisions based on their performance for the completed season. Leagues that use promotion and relegation systems are often called open leagues. In a system of promotion and relegation, the best-ranked team(s) in the lower division are ''promoted'' to the higher division for the next season, and the worst-ranked team(s) in the higher division are ''relegated'' to the lower division for the next season. In some leagues, playoffs or qualifying rounds are also used to determine rankings. The National League North, formerly Conference North, is a division of the National League in England, immediately below the National League division. Patella
The patella, also known as the kneecap, is a flat, rounded triangular bone which articulates with the femur (thigh bone) and covers and protects the anterior articular surface of the knee joint. The patella is found in many tetrapods, such as mice, cats, birds and dogs, but not in whales, or most reptiles.
