The Diplomatic Academy of Vienna (DA; German: ''Diplomatische Akademie Wien''), also known as the Vienna School of International Studies, is a postgraduate professional school based in Vienna, Austria, with focused training for students and professionals in the areas of international affairs, political science, law, languages, history and economics. Foreign Relations Of Kyrgyzstan
Kyrgyzstan has close relations with other members of the Commonwealth of Independent States, particularly Kazakhstan and Russia, given the historical legacy of the Soviet Union. It also has close relations with Turkey as well, given their shared heritage as Turkic languages. While Kyrgyzstan was initially determined to stay in the ruble zone, the stringent conditions set forth by the Russian Government prompted Kyrgyzstan to introduce its own currency, the som, in May 1993. Kyrgyzstan's withdrawal from the ruble zone was done with little prior notification and initially caused tensions in the region. Both Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan temporarily suspended trade, and Uzbekistan even introduced restrictions tantamount to economic sanctions. Chingiz Azamatovich Aidarbekov ( ky, Чинги́з Азама́тович Айдарбе́ков) is a Kyrgyz diplomat who is a former Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan serving in the position from October 2018 to October 2020. Erlan Abdyldayev ( ky, Эрла́н Беке́шович Абдылда́ев) is a Kyrgyz diplomat who served as the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan from 2012 to 2018. Biography Abdyldayev was born on June 21, 1966, in Alma-Ata, the capital of the Kazakh SSR. In 1989 he graduated from the Moscow State Institute of International Relations. He worked in the embassies of Russia, and China from 1989 to 1994.
