Mike Weber (American Football)
Mike Weber (born August 25, 1997) is an American football running back who is a free agent. He played college football at Ohio State. He has been a member of the Dallas Cowboys, Kansas City Chiefs, Green Bay Packers, and New York Giants of the National Football League (NFL) and the New Jersey Generals of the United States Football League (USFL). Early years Weber attended Cass Technical High School in Detroit, Michigan. As a senior, he rushed for 2,268 yards with 26 touchdowns, despite missing three games to injury. He averaged 10.1-yards per carry, while helping his team reach the state's semi-finals. He rushed for a state record 404 yards and five touchdowns in the regional championship win over Chippewa Valley High School. A running back (RB) is a member of the offensive backfield in gridiron football. 2019 NFL Draft
The 2019 NFL Draft was the 84th annual meeting of National Football League (NFL) franchises to select newly eligible players for the 2019 NFL season. The draft was held on April 25–27 in Nashville, Tennessee. The first round was held on April 25, followed by the second and third rounds on April 26, and concluded with rounds 4–7 on April 27. A touchdown (abbreviated as TD) is a scoring play in gridiron football. Whether running, passing, returning a kickoff or punt, or recovering a turnover, a team scores a touchdown by advancing the ball into the opponent's end zone. Redshirt, in United States college athletics, is a delay or suspension of an athlete's participation in order to lengthen their period of eligibility. Typically, a student's athletic eligibility in a given sport is four seasons, aligning with the four years of academic classes typically required to earn a bachelor's degree at an American college or university. However, in a redshirt year, student athletes may attend classes at the college or university, practice with an athletic team, and "suit up" (wear a team uniform) for play – but they may compete in only a limited number of games (see " Use of status" section).
