Michael Lindgren
DJ Trexx is a pseudonym of Swedish actor, producer and writer Michael Lindgren (born 14 March 1978 in Stockholm), who is a part of the Grotesco comedy collective. DJ Trexx is a satirical figure who was initially portrayed as a Croatian disc jockey who performs kitschy eurotechno songs, but has also at times appeared to be Russian. In the finals of Melodifestivalen 2009, DJ Trexx performed a version of the song " Tingeling", which had been a recurring theme of several comical between-acts performed by the Grotesco team in that year's episodes of Melodifestivalen. The song " Tingaliin", the Russian version of "Tingeling" was released as a single and hit number one on Sverigetopplistan in March 2009. DJ Trexx was also commissioned for the song ''A Union of Peace Love and Bass'' to encourage young voters to vote in the 2009 European Parliament election. The Swedish Film Institute ( sv, Svenska Filminstitutet) was founded in 1963 to support and develop the Swedish film industry. The 2009 European Parliament election in Sweden was held on 7 June 2009 and determined the makeup of the Swedish delegation to the European Parliament. The election was held using a modified form of the Sainte-Laguë method of party-list proportional representation using the entire country as a single electoral constituency. There is a threshold limit of 4 percent for Swedish elections to the European Parliament, so that any party not receiving at least four percent of the votes will not be allocated any seats. Sweden will be allocated 18 seats in the European parliament for this term, a reduction from the 19 they were allocated in the 2004 election. TINGeLING (established 1997 in Trondheim, Norway) is a Norwegian jazz band, initiated by vocalist Eldbjørg Raknes. The band's pianist Maria Kannegaard, has been replaced by Christian Wallumrød (2001) or Steinar Nickelsen (2003–).
