Martin Field is a privately owned, public use airport located three  nautical miles (6  km) southwest of the central business district of South Sioux City, in Dakota County, Nebraska, United States. Facilities and aircraft Martin Field covers an area of 175 acres (71 ha) at an elevation of 1,100 feet (335 m) above mean sea level. It has one runway designated 14/32 with an asphalt surface measuring 3,323 by 50 feet (1,013 x 15 m). Texas Wesleyan University is a private Methodist university in Fort Worth, Texas. It was founded in 1890 by the Methodist Episcopal Church, South. The main campus is located in the Polytechnic Heights neighborhood of Fort Worth. Its mascot is the ram. History Texas Wesleyan University was founded as Polytechnic College by the Methodist Episcopal Church, South, in 1890. A committee under the direction of Bishop Joseph S. Key explored locations for a campus and settled on a site east of Fort Worth donated by area pioneers A.S. Hall, W.D. Hall, and George Tandy. The airport was founded in the early 1940s by Herman L. Martin. During World War II, it served as a training ground for approximately 2500 United States Navy aviators. West Virginia University Institute of Technology (WVU Tech, WVIT, WVU Beckley, or West Virginia Tech) is a public college in Beckley, West Virginia. It is a divisional campus of West Virginia University. History The college was founded in 1895 in Montgomery, West Virginia as the sub-collegiate Montgomery Preparatory School for West Virginia University. In 1917, it was separated from WVU and renamed the West Virginia Trade School. Next, in 1921, it reached the junior college level as the New River State School. Martin Scott Field
Martin Scott Field (born September 13, 1956) was the eighth bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of West Missouri from March 6, 2011 until September 14, 2021. Early life and education Field was born on September 13, 1956 in Salem, Ohio. He was educated at Salem High School in Salem, Ohio, graduating in 1974. He then studied at Bethany College from where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in religious studies. He also earned a Master of Divinity in May 1983 from the Lexington Theological Seminary. He also undertook a Doctor of Ministry in congregational development at the Seabury-Western Theological Seminary in Evanston, Illinois between 2004 and 2006. Ordained ministry Field was ordained into ministry in the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) on June 6, 1983 after which he ministered in Maryland and Ohio.
