''Mad Dogs'' is an American comedy thriller television series produced by Amazon Prime Video. It is a partial remake of the British show, also named '' Mad Dogs'', that aired from 2011 to 2013. Crispin "Cris" Cole is a British writer and producer. Career Born in Wallingford, England, Cole grew up in London and attended Elliott School in Roehampton. After leaving the Elliott School, he worked as a professional guitarist and bass player for the next 15 years, playing in bands including Jimmy the Hoover, The Directions and The Hollywood Killers. The series stars John Simm, Marc Warren, Max Beesley, and Philip Glenister as four long-time and middle-aged friends getting together in a villa in Majorca to celebrate the early retirement of their friend Alvo (Ben Chaplin). After Alvo is murdered, the group find themselves caught up in the world of crime and police corruption. After gaining interest from some terrestrial networks, the series was commissioned by British Sky Broadcasting. Ken Topolsky is an American film producer, television director and music production manager. Career Topolsky began his career working as a music production manager for music producer Phil Ramone.
