Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta () (UMS) is one of 164 universities of Muhammadiyah (PTM) and one of the 1890 private higher educational institutions (PTS) in Indonesia. Kartasura (, also spelled Kartosuro) is a district ''(kecamatan)'' in Sukoharjo Regency, Central Java, Indonesia.
