Mom's Spaghetti
Mom's Spaghetti is a restaurant in Detroit, Michigan. It serves spaghetti, spaghetti related merchandise, and is known for being opened by rapper Eminem in his hometown. The restaurant's name and premise are inspired by a line from Eminem's song "Lose Yourself" from the soundtrack to his movie '' 8 Mile'', in which he says "There's vomit on his sweater already, mom's spaghetti." The restaurant also contains a merchandise shop, The Trailer, that houses the Robin suit from the music video of the single " Without Me". History Before a brick-and-mortar restaurant was established, Eminem worked with the restaurant company Union Joints to make pop-up restaurants to promote his album '' Revival'' in 2017. One of them was at The Shelter. In 2018, a Mom's Spaghetti stand was set up at Coachella. Stands were also seen at Firefly Music Festival and Governors Ball Music Festival. Shady Records is an American record label founded by rapper Eminem and his manager Paul Rosenberg in 1999, following the commercially successful release of '' The Slim Shady LP'' that same year. The label's name comes from the last name of Eminem's alter ego, Slim Shady. The Shady Records roster was showcased on their 2006 compilation album, '' Eminem Presents: The Re-Up'', which peaked at number 2 on the ''Billboard'' 200.
