Mattie Pollock
Mattie William Pollock (born 28 September 2001) is an English professional footballer who plays as a defender for club Watford. Mainly a centre-back, he can also be deployed as a right-back. Pollock was the product of the youth academies of Middlesbrough and Leeds United before joining Grimsby Town's academy in 2018. He later signed full professional terms with Grimsby and went on to make 46 league appearances for the club before signing for Watford in 2021. He has since spent time on loan with Cheltenham Town. Early life Born in Redhill, Pollock was brought up in Middlesbrough, where he attended the Nunthorpe Academy. Career Pollock was a trainee with Leeds United up until under-15 level, where he was considered a midfielder. Alexander James Whitmore (born 7 September 1995) is an English professional footballer who plays as a central defender for club Solihull Moors. After playing youth football with Wallsend Boys Club, Whitmore turned professional with Burnley in 2014, and had spells at Chester, Gateshead, Morecambe, Bury and Chesterfield. He signed for Grimsby Town in May 2018 and joined AFC Fylde in June 2019. Whitmore signed for Solihull Moors for an undisclosed fee in November 2023. Ben Pollock (born 6 January 1998) is an English footballer who plays as a defender for club Spennymoor Town. Career Pollock spent his youth with Middlesbrough, Leeds United, and Newcastle United, before he signed his first professional contract with Hartlepool United in May 2016, following a successful trial spell. He made his senior debut in a 1–0 defeat to Sunderland U23 in an EFL Trophy group match at Victoria Park on 4 October 2016. Jamie Pollock (born 16 February 1974) is an English former football club chairman, manager and professional player. As a player he was a midfielder from 1990 to 2002. He played Premier League football for Middlesbrough, Bolton Wanderers and Manchester City. Michael Duff (footballer)
Michael James Duff (born 11 January 1978) is a Northern Irish professional football manager and former player who was most recently the head coach of League One club Huddersfield Town. In a professional playing career spanning from 1996 to 2016, in which he made over 600 appearances, Duff played as a defender for Cheltenham Town, Cirencester Town (on loan) and Burnley, winning three Premier League promotions with the latter.
