Matt Campbell (darts Player)
Matthew Campbell (born 29 September 1989) is a Canadian professional darts player who competes in Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) events. Campbell won the 2024 North American Darts Championship. He also won three titles on the PDC Challenge Tour, and five titles on the CDC Pro Tour. Campbell has been the runner-up in a Players Championship event twice, in 2022 and 2024. His best major performance is reaching the last 16 at the 2022 Players Championship Finals. Career In 2019, Campbell won the ADO Syracuse Open where he defeated Darin Young in the final. On the CDC Pro Tour, he finished as the best Canadian player and qualified for the 2020 PDC World Darts Championship. He played Mark McGeeney in the first round and lost the match 3-1. Mensur Suljović (Serbian Cyrillic: Менсур Суљовић; born 5 March 1972) is a Serbian-Austrian professional darts player who competes in Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) events, where he reached a peak ranking of world number five in 2017. The 2022 PDC World Darts Championship (officially referred to as the 2021/22 William Hill World Darts Championship) was the 29th World Championship organised by the Professional Darts Corporation since it separated from the now-defunct British Darts Organisation. It took place at the Alexandra Palace in London from 15 December 2021 to 3 January 2022. Gerwyn Price was the defending champion, after he defeated Gary Anderson 7–3 to claim his first World Championship in 2021. However, he lost 5–4 to Michael Smith in the quarter-finals. The PDC Pro Tour is a series of non-televised darts tournaments organised by the Professional Darts Corporation (PDC). They comprise Professional Dart Players Association (PDPA) Players Championships and European Tour events. Only four players have gone on to win at least 30 titles on the PDC Pro Tour. Michael van Gerwen has won the most Pro Tour titles with 89. Phil Taylor is second on the list winning 70 events. Scott Waites
Scott Waites (born 17 February 1977) is an English professional darts player who plays in Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) events. He is a two-time BDO World Darts Champion having won the 2013 tournament and 2016 tournament. He is also a former Winmau World Masters champion, WDF World Cup singles' champion, Zuiderduin Masters champion. He also won the 2010 Grand Slam of Darts, becoming the only BDO representative to win the event. He previously played in British Darts Organisation (BDO) tournaments, where he won the Dutch Open on two occasions and was the runner-up at the 2018 BDO World Championship and the World Masters in both 2016 and 2017. Darin Young (born February 2, 1973) is an American professional darts player who competes in Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) events. His nickname is Big Daddy. Career PDC Young made his PDC World Darts Championship debut in 2005 where he lost in the first round to fellow left-hander Josephus Schenk.
