South Slavs are Slavic peoples who speak South Slavic languages and inhabit a contiguous region of Southeast Europe comprising the eastern Alps and the Balkan Peninsula. Jovan Marić
Jovan Marić (Serbian Cyrillic: 11 August 1941 – 11 November 2023) was a Serbian psychiatrist, author, Doctor of Medical Sciences and university professor at the Faculty of Medicine in Belgrade. Marić lectured forensic psychiatry in Faculty of Law in Belgrade, provided psychiatric expertise in court, and served as an ambassador to Nigeria from 2014 until 2016, when he was dismissed following the negative publicity from tabloid media. Marić died on 11 November 2023, at the age of 82. Early life and education Born in Bijeljina, Marić graduated from musical secondary school, his instrument of choice was piano, and he was also the town's chess champion. Milan Marić ( sr-cyr, Милан Марић; born 26 September 1981) is a Serbian actor, best known for his role in ''The Wounds''. Biography Milan Marić was born in 1981 in Belgrade. In 1998 he had his cinematic debut in the film ''The Wounds'', in the lead role of Shvaba. His next work was in 2004, in the drama film ''Breathe Deeply'', where he played a supporting part. It was about the main heroine Sasha whose ambitions are thwarted by a car crash. A year later, the actor appeared in the comedy ''We are not Angels-2'', where he again starred in an episodic role, of a businessman. Mijat Marić (born 30 April 1984) is a Swiss former footballer of Croatian descent, who played as a defender. Career Marić started his career at AC Lugano of Ticino, an Italian speaking region. After the bankrupt of the club, he joined FC Malcantone Agno. In summer 2003 he joined FC St. Gallen of Swiss Super League.
