''Home and Away'' is an Australian soap opera first broadcast on the Seven Network on 17 January 1988. The following is a list of characters that first appeared in 1995, by order of first appearance. They were all introduced by the show's then executive producer John Holmes. The 8th season of ''Home and Away'' began airing on 16 January 1995. The first introduction of the year was Daniel Goddard as drug dealer Eric Phillips. Adrian Lee began portraying teacher Andrew Warren in March. Nic Testoni joined the serial in April as Travis Nash. Home And Away
''Home and Away'' (''H&A'') is an Australian television soap opera. It was created by Alan Bateman and commenced broadcast on the Seven Network on 17 January 1988. Bateman came up with the concept of the show during a trip to Kangaroo Point, New South Wales, where he noticed locals were complaining about the construction of a foster home and against the idea of foster children from the city living in the area. The soap opera was initially going to be called ''Refuge'', but the name was changed to the "friendlier" title of ''Home and Away'' once production began. Melissa Suzanne George (born 6 August 1976) is an Australian and American actress. She began her career playing Angel Parrish on the Australian soap opera ''Home and Away'' between 1993–1996. Angel Parrish (also Brooks) is a fictional character from the Australian soap opera ''Home and Away'', portrayed by Melissa George. She made her first on-screen appearance on 30 March 1993, arriving as a teenage runaway. Rob Storey is a fictional character from the Australian Seven Network, Channel Seven soap opera ''Home and Away'', played by Matthew Lilley. He appeared in the series from 13 July 1994 until 12 May 1995. Casting Lilley played the role for one year. Three years after he left the series; Lilley said he still received fan mail from European viewers. Donna Bishop is a fictional character from the Australian Channel Seven soap opera ''Home and Away'', played by Nicola Quilter.
