North Shields
North Shields ( ) is a town in the borough of North Tyneside in Tyne and Wear, England. It is north-east of Newcastle upon Tyne and borders nearby Wallsend and Tynemouth. The population of North Shields at the 2021–2022 United Kingdom censuses, 2021 census was 6,137. Since 1974, it has been in the North Tyneside borough of Tyne and Wear: its historic administration was as part of the Castle wapentake, ward in county of Northumberland. It was part of the Tynemouth County Borough; when abolished in 1974, the borough became an unparished area. Cullercoats
Cullercoats is a coastal settlement in the metropolitan borough of North Tyneside, Tyne and Wear, England. Historically in Northumberland, it has now been absorbed into the wider Tyneside conurbation, sitting between Tynemouth to the south and Whitley Bay to the north. The population of Cullercoats at the 2021–2022 United Kingdom censuses, 2021 census was 6,232. There is a semi-circular sandy beach with cliffs and six caves, and the village is a popular destination for day-trippers. It also acts as an attractive dormitory town for nearby Newcastle upon Tyne. Marden High School
Marden High School is a coeducational secondary school located in Cullercoats, Tyne and Wear, England. The Marden City Learning Centre, opened 15 July 2003, was situated on the grounds in front of the school. However, Woodlawn School has now replaced the Marden City Learning Centre. In 2015 the school began building a new school building through the Priority Schools Building Programme. This was completed in 2016. The older building was demolished and replaced with a car park and field. This work was fully completed in 2017.
