Malaysian Chinese Association
The Malaysian Chinese Association (Abbreviation, abbrev: MCA; Malay language, Malay: ''Persatuan Cina Malaysia''), formerly known as the Malayan Chinese Association, is an ethnic List of political parties in Malaysia, political party in Malaysia that seeks to represent the Malaysian Chinese ethnicity; it was one of the three original major component parties of the coalition party in Malaysia called the Alliance Party (Malaysia), Alliance Party, which later became a broader coalition called Barisan Nasional in Malay, or National Front in English. Along with the largest and third largest component party in BN, i.e. United Malays National Organisation and Malaysian Indian Congress, MCA has a significant influence over the political arena in Malaysia since its independence. Wee Ka Siong ( zh, t=, s=魏家祥, p=Wèi Jiāxiáng, c=, poj=Gūi Ka-siông; born 20 October 1968) is a Malaysian people, Malaysian politician and engineer who has served as the Dewan Rakyat, Member of Parliament (MP) for Ayer Hitam (federal constituency), Ayer Hitam since March 2004. Centre-right Politics
Centre-right politics is the set of right-wing political ideologies that lean closer to the political centre.
