Mahfuzur Rahman Litu (; born 3 September 1973) is a Bangladeshi cricket umpire. Umpiring career Mahfuzur Rahman officiates First Class and List-A matches in Bangladesh. Since 2012 he stands as umpire in Bangladesh Premier League. Till 2017–18 Bangladesh Premier League he has officiated 34 matches in BPL. Mahfoozur Rahman Nami
Mahfoozur Rahman Nami (May 1911 – 17 November 1963) was an Indian Muslim scholar, politician and an author. He was an alumnus of Jamia Miftahul Uloom and Darul Uloom Deoband. He established Madrasa Nūr-ul-Ulūm and Azad Inter College in Bahraich. Biography Nami was born in May 1911. He completed his primary studies at Jamia Miftahul Uloom with Abul Lateef Nomani and Habib al-Rahman al-'Azmi. Nami entered the Darul Uloom Deoband 1344 AH, where he studied with Hussain Ahmad Madani, Izaz Ali Amrohi and Ibrahim Balyawi. He graduated in 1348 AH. Nami established Madrasa Nūr-ul-Ulum in Bahraich. He also established Maulana Azad Nur-ul-Ulūm High School, now known as Azad Inter College, in Bahraich. Abu Yousuf Mohammad Mahfuzur Rahman, also known as A.Y.M. Mahfuzur Rahman, (1 October 1942 – 23 September 1981) was a Bangladeshi army officer who served as a sub-sector commander during the Bangladesh Liberation War. In 1981, he was executed for his alleged involvement in the assassination of president Ziaur Rahman. Career Bangladesh Liberation War Mahfuzur joined the Pakistan Army in 1967 and was commissioned in 1968, being assigned to the 2nd East Bengal Regiment. When the Bangladesh Liberation War began on 25 March 1971, he was a captain in the 8th East Bengal Regiment, which revolted against Pakistan. During the war, Mahfuzur was a sub-sector commander in sector 1. He was responsible for the Sreenagar sub-sector (along with Captain Matiur Rahman) and the Manughat sub-sector.
