London Transit (bus Company)
RATP Dev Transit London is a joint venture between RATP Dev and Kelsian Group in London. It owns the London bus companies of London Sovereign, London United and London Transit. It commenced on 11 December 2021. History In September 2021, RATP Dev and SeaLink Travel Group (now Kelsian Group) announced they had agreed to form a joint venture to combine some of their Transport for London contracted bus operations. RATP hold an 87.5% shareholding, with Kelsian owning 12.5%. Go-Coachhire Ltd is a bus operator running a total of 40 bus services (including school services) across Kent and Sussex. In addition to local bus services, Diamond South East operates the Hallmark luxury coach and corporate cars business, which was originally founded in 1913 as an independent company known as Flights Hallmark. Carousel Buses is a bus company based in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire, England. Originally an independent company, it is a subsidiary of the Go-Ahead Group. It is grouped together with Oxford Bus Company and Thames Travel, both of Oxfordshire, with the fleets of each operator regularly interchanged. History Carousel Buses was formed in 2000. Arriva Shires & Essex is a bus operator providing services in Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Essex and Hertfordshire, with services extending to Oxfordshire and Greater London. Uno (formerly UniversityBus) is an English bus service operated by the University of Hertfordshire, serving members of the general public, and also its own students and staff. The service was set up in 1992, growing out of a shuttle service previously operated for students at Wall Hall College located near Watford connecting them to the other campuses of the university and the Polytechnic (Hatfield) before that. It provides student transport to the university from local areas as well as improving east–west travel across Hertfordshire and has opened up new links from North London. Services have expanded as the university has closed outlying sites at Watford and Hertford and developed the new de Havilland Campus on the site of the former Hatfield Aerodrome, Hatfield. Thameside (bus Company)
Thameside is a bus company operating in East London. It is a subsidiary brand of Stagecoach London and operates services under contract to Transport for London. The brand is not publicly used since 2010 as all buses are branded as Stagecoach, but it exists as a legal entity. Thameside shares its headquarters with sister company East London at West Ham. History Thameside was set up to operate route 248 from 27 September 2008. In March 2009 route 372 was transferred followed in July 2009 by route 174. In March 2011, route 287 was transferred from Barking (BK) Garage to this garage upon contract renewal.
