''Living'' is a 1971 live album by American singer and songwriter Judy Collins, taken from performances on the singer's 1970 concert tour. It peaked at No. 64 on the Billboard Pop Albums charts. An album is a collection of audio recordings issued on compact disc (CD), vinyl, audio tape, or another medium such as digital distribution. Albums of recorded sound were developed in the early 20th century as individual 78 rpm records collected in a bound book resembling a photograph album; this format evolved after 1948 into single vinyl long-playing (LP) records played at rpm. Four Strong Winds
"Four Strong Winds" is a song written by Ian Tyson and recorded by Canadian folk duo Ian and Sylvia. Tyson has noted that he composed the song in about 20 minutes in his then manager Albert Grossman's New York apartment in 1962. A significant composition of the early 1960s folk revival, the song is a melancholy reflection on a failing romantic relationship. The singer expresses a desire for a possible reunion in a new place in the future ("You could meet me if I sent you down the fare") but acknowledges the likelihood that the relationship is over ("But our good times are all gone/And I'm bound for moving on ..."). The song has a clear Canadian context and subtext, including an explicit mention of the province Alberta as well as references to long, cold winters. John Haeny
John Haeny is an American-born music producer, recording and mixing engineer, sound designer and academic. From the late 1960s through the late 1980s he recorded, mixed and produced hundreds of albums. He worked with a variety of artists across multiple genres including Bonnie Raitt, Jackson Browne, Jim Morrison, Tom Jones, Warren Zevon and Linda Ronstadt to Weather Report, John Coltrane, Freddie Hubbard and Duke Ellington. Throughout his career he has produced, engineered and mixed various Gold and Platinum certified albums from the 1960s onwards. Following his work in the music industry, Haeny spent nearly two decades working in film and television as a sound designer. Sue Evans (born July 7, 1951) is an American jazz, pop, classical, and studio percussionist and drummer. Career She was born in New York, New York, United States. Evans played piano, violin and clarinet as a young child before switching to drums. She studied under Warren Smith and Sonny Igoe, and graduated in 1969 from The High School of Music & Art. Later, Evans earned a BA in Music from Columbia University, as well as a Master of Music and Doctorate from the Juilliard School. Ryland Peter "Ry" Cooder (born March 15, 1947) is an American musician, songwriter, film score composer, record producer, and writer. Richard Bell (March 5, 1946 – June 15, 2007) was a Canadian musician best known as the pianist for Janis Joplin and her Full Tilt Boogie Band. He was also a keyboardist with the Band during the 1990s. Early life and career Richard Bell was the son of the Canadian composer and musician Dr. Leslie Bell. Hamilton Camp (Born Robin S. Camp, 30 October 1934 – 2 October 2005) was a London-born actor and singer, who relocated to the United States with his family when he was a young child.
