Live Earth was an event developed to increase environmental awareness through entertainment. Background Founded by Emmy-winning producer Kevin Wall, in partnership with former U.S. Vice President Al Gore, ''Live Earth'' was built upon the belief that entertainment has the power to transcend social and cultural barriers to move the world community to action. Live Earth seeks to leverage the power of entertainment through integrated events, media, and the live experience to ignite a global movement aimed at solving the most critical environmental issues of our time. Tō-ji
, also known as is a Shingon Buddhist temple in the Minami-ku ward of Kyoto, Japan. Founded in 796, it was one of the only three Buddhist temples allowed in the city at the time it became the capital of Japan. As such it has a long history, housing treasures and documents from the early Heian period and the Tang dynasty, and with buildings in its complex covering the Kamakura, Muromachi, Momoyama, and Edo periods. Kevin Wall is an American entrepreneur, investor, activist and Emmy Award-winning producer of global events such as Live Earth, and Live 8. As the CEO and founder of the investment funPTK Capita, Wall finances companies focused on social and environmental issues with a commitment to gender equality. He is also the co-founder and co-chairman of Dreamscape Immersive and the chairman of the board for Flipper's Roller Boogie Palace. His first media company, Radio Vision International, produced international benefit concerts such as USA for Africa in 1985 as well as Human Rights Now! and the Nelson Mandela 70th Birthday Tribute in 1988. Wall was also the executive producer of the FIFA World Cup Kick Off Celebration, Live Earth: The Concerts for a Climate Crisis with former Vice President Al Gore and Live 8, which earned Wall the first Emmy Award for content delivered via the internet in 2006.

Rip Slyme
Rip Slyme (often stylized as RIP SLYME) is a Japanese hip hop group. In its best known incarnation, it was primarily composed of four MCs (Ryo-Z, Ilmari, Pes & Su) and a DJ, Fumiya. Pes and Su have since parted ways with the group. Their sound is influenced by old-school hip hop and other western rappers such as The Pharcyde, De La Soul, Public Enemy, Jurassic 5, the Beastie Boys, DJ Premier and Leaders of the New School. During their career, they have released two indie albums, ten major albums, one live album, one indies collection, and three best-of albums. They released six singles as an indie act, and 17 with a major label. On October 31, 2018 the group announced that they were suspending all activities. UA (singer)
(born March 11, 1972), simply known by the stage name Ua (), is a Japanese singer. She made her debut under Speedstar Records in 1995 with the single "Horizon". Biography Ua was born Kaori Shima and grew up in Suita, Osaka. After graduating from Saga University of Arts in Kyoto, she worked as a lounge singer in her hometown. There in 1994, she was scouted by producer Hiroshi Fujiwara. She took on the unusual stage name of ''Ua'' (a Swahili word that means both "flower" and "kill") and made her debut with the Fujiwara-produced "Horizon". Her fourth single " Jōnetsu" became a smash hit and Ua was recognized all over Japan. Michael Laurence Nyman, CBE (born 23 March 1944) is an English composer, pianist, librettist, musicologist, and filmmaker.
