Social democracy is a political, social, and economic philosophy within socialism that supports political and economic democracy. As a policy regime, it is described by academics as advocating economic and social interventions to promote social justice within the framework of a liberal-democratic polity and a capitalist-oriented mixed economy. The protocols and norms used to accomplish this involve a commitment to representative and participatory democracy, measures for income redistribution, regulation of the economy in the general interest, and social welfare provisions. The Social Democratic Party ( ca, Partit Socialdemòcrata, PS) is a social-democratic political party in Andorra. History The party was established in the run-up to the March 2001 parliamentary elections when the National Democratic Group split in two, with the Democratic Party also being formed. Nohlen D & Stöver P (2010) ''Elections in Europe: A data handbook'', p162 The new party received 28.7% of the vote and won six seats.Nohlen & Stöver, p164 In the buildup to the April 2005 parliamentary elections the party formed an alliance named L'Alternativa with the Parochial Union of Independents Group (GUPI) and Democratic Renewal to contest parish-level seats. The party won six seats at the national level, whilst the alliance won six seats at the parish level. With a total of twelve seats, the party remained in opposition. The April 2009 parliamentary elections saw the party renew its alliance with GUPI and some independents.

People's Electoral Movement (Aruba)
The People's Electoral Movement ( nl, Electorale Volksbeweging, pap, Movimiento Electoral di Pueblo, MEP) is a social democratic political party in Aruba. following the 2001 general election for the Parliament of Aruba the party won 52.4% of popular vote and 12 out of 21 seats. in the 2005 general election, the party won 43% of the popular vote and 11 out of 21 seats thus won the election and remained in power. in the 2009 general election, MEP lost 2 seats and won 36% of the vote, subsequently losing the election. Citizen’s Decision ( hy, Քաղաքացու որոշում, translit=K՛aghak՛atsu voroshum, abbreviated hy, link=n, label=none, ՔՈ, translit=K՛O, lit=Your), also known as the Citizen’s Decision Social-Democratic Party, is an Armenian social-democratic political party founded in November 2018 by a group of left-leaning activists following the Velvet Revolution. The Social Democrat Hunchakian Party (SDHP) ( hy, Սոցիալ Դեմոկրատ Հնչակյան Կուսակցություն; ՍԴՀԿ, translit=Sots’ial Demokrat Hnch’akyan Kusakts’ut’yun), is the oldest continuously-operating Armenian political party, founded in 1887 by a group of students in Geneva, Switzerland. National Alfonsinist Movement
The National Alfonsinist Movement ( es, Movimiento Nacional Alfonsinista, MNA) is a political movement in Argentina with a radical Alfonsinist ideology, founded in 2014 by Leopoldo Moreau a former member of the Radical Civic Union, Gustavo López (leader of the FORJA Concertación Party) and Leandro Santoro (of the Los Irrompibles group), who formed as part of the Front for Victory in 2015, Citizen's Unity in 2017 and the present-day ruling Frente de Todos since 2019.
