Dildo Run Provincial Park
Dildo Run Provincial Park is a provincial park located on New World Island, Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada. It was opened to the public in 1967. The nearest major town is Twillingate. There are 55 campsites, each with a picnic table, fireplace, garbage can, and room for a vehicle. Fifteen picnic sites offer a view of the ocean. Sandbanks Provincial Park (Newfoundland)
Sandbanks Provincial Park is a provincial park on the island of Newfoundland in the province of Newfoundland and Labrador. It is located on the southwest coast, approximately 150 km from the Trans-Canada Highway near the town of Burgeo, less than three hours from Corner Brook. The park is known for its expansive sandy beaches and dunes. Covering an area of , the park has over of beach and several inland hiking trails through bog and forested area. One path leads to a lookout at Cow Head. Biology and ecology The sand dunes are easily eroded. Visitors are encouraged to stay on designated trails. Pinware River Provincial Park
Pinware is a town in the Canadian province of Newfoundland and Labrador. The town has a population of 64, according to the Canada 2021 Census. The town is located along Route 510 in Labrador, between L'Anse-au-Diable and Red Bay. The community has been formerly known as Riviere des François, Pirouette River, and Black Bay. It is believed the name is a corruption of Pied Noir (black foot) from the shape of a rock found at the mouth of Black Rock Brook. Demographics In the 2021 Census of Population conducted by Statistics Canada, Pinware had a population of living in of its total private dwellings, a change of from its 2016 population of . La Manche Provincial Park, is a provincial park located 53 kilometers south of St. John's along Route 10 (Irish Loop Drive), on the island of Newfoundland, in the Canadian Province of Newfoundland and Labrador. It consists mainly of the abandoned village of La Manche, as well as some surrounding terrain. East Coast Trail The East Coast Trail's La Manche Village Path, which runs from Tors Cove to La Manche Village, enters the Park and crosses the La Manche River by a suspension bridge. The Flamber Head Path continues for 11.5km from the resettled La Manche Village to Brigus South. The Flamber Head Path is also accessible via a 1.4km access trail from within the park.
