Renzo Testolin (born 28 March 1968) is an Italian politician and accountant from the Valdostan Union party, current President of Aosta Valley. Testolin served as acting President of Aosta Valley following the resignation of Antonio Fosson. He also served as Vice President of Aosta Valley from December 2018 to December 2019 and has served as a member of the Regional Council of Aosta Valley since July 2013. He was elected President of Aosta Valley on 2 March 2023. Career Testolin was elected to the Aymavilles town council in 1995, and from 2005 to 2010 served as deputy mayor of Aymavilles. For Our Valley
For Our Valley (''Pour Notre Vallée'', PNV) is a centrist political party active in Aosta Valley, Italy. In November 2016 two regional councillors, former senator Antonio Fosson and Claudio Restano, left the Valdostan Union (UV) in disagreement with Augusto Rollandin, President of Aosta Valley, and launched the party. PNV was immediately admitted into the coalition supporting the regional government composed also of the Progressive Valdostan Union (UVP), Edelweiss (SA) and the Democratic Party (PD). In March 2017 PNV stopped supporting the government and, along with the UVP, SA and Autonomy Liberty Participation Ecology (ALPE), formed a new government without the UV, under President Pierluigi Marquis (SA), with Restano minister of Tourism, Sports, Commerce and Transports. Antonio Fosson (born 11 October 1951) is an Italian politician. Antonio was elected president of Aosta Valley from 10 December 2018 to 16 December 2019. Antonio is a member of the Pour Notre Vallée Party. Biography Antonio was born in Ivrea, Italy. But he was elected senator in 2008 from ayes. He is a member of the 12th Standing Committee on Hygiene and Health, as well as of the Parliamentary Committee on Regional Questions. The Progressive Valdostan Union (french: Union Valdôtaine Progressiste, UVP) was a centre-left political party active in the Aosta Valley, Italy. Leading members were Laurent Viérin, Luigi Bertschy and Giuliano Morelli. History The party emerged in January 2013 as a split from the Valdostan Union (UV), similarly to what had happened forty years before with the historical UVP. Over the years the UV had become more acquainted with the centre-right and this caused the exit of three regional councillors ( Luciano Caveri, Laurent Viérin and Andrea Rosset), who launched the UVP on 4 January 2013. Laurent Viérin (born 7 August 1975) is an Italian politician who served as president of Aosta Valley from 13 October 2017 to 27 June 2018. He is the co-founder of the Progressive Valdostan Union party. Early life Viérin was born in Aosta on 7 August 1975 and resided in Jovençan.
