The Iban language () is spoken by the Iban, a branch of the Dayak ethnic group, who live in Brunei, the Indonesian province of West Kalimantan and in the Malaysian state of Sarawak. It belongs to the Malayic languages, a Malayo-Polynesian branch of the Austronesian language family. ''Oriental Daily News'' () is one of Malaysia's daily Chinese-language newspapers, published in broadsheet format. It was officially launched on New Year's Day 2003. The newspaper group is owned by KTS Group, a Sarawak timber company founded by late Datuk Lau Hui Kang. The newspaper actually published its first issue on 29 September 2002, but its publication's permit was suspended by the Malaysian Home Ministry. Nanyang Siang Pau
''Nanyang Siang Pau'' or ''Nanyang Business Daily'' () was founded by philanthropist-entrepreneur Tan Kah Kee on 6 September 1923 in Straits Settlements, currently published in Malaysia. ''Nanyang Siang Pau'' is one of the oldest Chinese-language newspapers in the country, with only ''Kwong Wah Yit Poh'' having been published longer. It has been published continuously except for four months in 1923 and 1924 and during the World War II between 1942 and 1945, before publication resumed on 8 September 1945. History Originally started in Straits Settlements, the newspaper first ventured into Kuala Lumpur in 1958, but the newspaper remains printed in Singapore. Kwong Wah Yit Poh
''Kwong Wah Yit Poh'' or ''Kwong Wah Daily'' () is a Malaysian Chinese daily that was founded on 20 December 1910 by Dr. Sun Yat-sen. The idea of publishing the ''Kwang Hwa Pao'' or 'Glorious Chinese Newspaper' was originally conceived when Dr Sun, Hu Hanmin, Huang Xing and Wang Jingwei visited Penang in 1907. The plan was aborted when financial backing wavered due to the collapse of tin prices. The Yangon branch of the Tongmenghui took up the idea and started the ''Yan Kon Kwang Hwa Pao''. After a short run, the Rangoon paper was banned by the British colonial government due to its radical stance. Subsequently, the Rangoon Tongmenghui leader Zhuang Yin'an came to Penang and a committee was formed to revive the ''Kwang Hwa Pao'' as a daily paper.
