Association Football
Association football, more commonly known as football or soccer, is a team sport played between two teams of 11 players who primarily use their feet to propel the ball around a rectangular field called a pitch. The objective of the game is to score more goals than the opposition by moving the ball beyond the goal line into a rectangular framed goal defended by the opposing side. Blue Water Arena
The Esbjerg Stadium ( da, Esbjerg Stadion), known as the Blue Water Arena for sponsorship reasons, is a football stadium located within Esbjerg Idrætspark in Esbjerg, Denmark. It is the home ground of Esbjerg fB and has a capacity of 16,942, of which 11,451 is seated. It is currently the second-biggest stadium in Jutland, and the fourth-biggest in Denmark. In 1999, the stadium was venue of the football tournament at the European Youth Olympic Festival. On account of the 2008 UEFA qualifier fan attack resulting in the forbidding of play of UEFA qualifier matches for Denmark within 250 km of Copenhagen, the Esbjerg Stadium was mentioned as the only possible venue within Denmark in which Denmark UEFA qualifier home games can be held as it is the biggest stadium in the country more than 250 km from Copenhagen. Akademisk Boldklub Gladsaxe (or AB) is a Danish professional football club from Gladsaxe north of Copenhagen, currently playing at the 3rd highest level of Danish domestic football in the Danish 2nd Division group 1. The club was established on February 26, 1889, through a merger of Fredericia Studenternes Kricketklub and Polyteknisk Boldklub. AB is nine time Danish Champions, eight time Copenhagen Champions, one time Danish Cup Champions and six times Copenhagen Cup Champions, and the club is thus one of the most successful in Danish football. The club has training and club facilities in Bagsværd north of Copenhagen and plays its home matches at Gladsaxe Stadium, also called ''Stade de Lundberg'', named after one of the club's pioneers, Knud Lundberg. Gladsaxe Stadium
Gladsaxe Stadium ( da, Gladsaxe Stadion) is a sports center located on Gladsaxevej 200, Søborg, Gladsaxe Municipality, in Copenhagen, which is primarily used for association football matches. The stadium hosts a number of training courses for running the football, handball and softball and hosts a restaurant. The ground is the home ground of Akademisk Boldklub and Gladsaxe-Hero Boldklub (rail size: 68 x 105 meters, and lighting: 700 lux.). The stadium has a capacity of 13,800, of which 8,000 are covered seats. The construction of the plant was started in 1938 and named Gladsaxe Idrætspark Marielyst. The inauguration of the facility took place on 26 May 1940. Recent renovation was started on 16 November 1998 and included construction of one long side with both upper and lower grandstand and a sponsor lounge. Gladsaxe Kommune is a municipality (Danish, '' kommune'') near Copenhagen in Region Hovedstaden on the island of Zealand (''Sjælland'') in eastern Denmark. AaB, (full name: ''Aalborg Boldspilklub'', ) internationally referred to as Aalborg BK, or sometimes also known as AaB Aalborg, is a professional football team located in Aalborg. The club is represented in the Danish Superliga and has won four Danish football Championships and three Danish Cup trophies. Most recently the team won the double in 2014. AaB was founded on 13 May 1885 by English engineers who were building Jutland's railway system, and the first years was concentrated on the game of cricket. Odense Boldklub (; also known as Odense BK or the more commonly used OB) is a Danish professional football club based in the city Odense. The club has won three Danish championships and five Danish Cup trophies. OB play in the Danish Superliga and their home field is Nature Energy Park. Odense Stadium (Danish: Odense Stadion) is an association football stadium in the Bolbro district of Odense, Denmark.
