Electronicore
Electronicore (also known as synthcore or trancecore) is a fusion genre of metalcore with elements of various electronic music genres, often including trance, electronica, and dubstep. Reception Sumerian Records noted in the late 2000s that "there has been a surplus of electronica/ hardcore music as of late." Attack Attack! is often recognized as the primary American contributor of the style, being inspired by British band Enter Shikari. Enter Shikari
Enter Shikari (stylised as enter: shikari and occasionally as ΣΠΤΣ℞ SΗΦΚ∆℞Φ) are a British rock band formed in St Albans, Hertfordshire, England in 1999 by bassist Chris Batten, lead vocalist and keyboardist Rou Reynolds, and drummer Rob Rolfe. In 2003, guitarist Rory Clewlow joined the band to complete its current line-up, and it adopted its current name. In 2006, they performed to a growing fanbase at Download Festival as well as a sold-out concert at the London Astoria. Their debut studio album, ''Take to the Skies'', was released in 2007 and reached number 4 in the Official UK Album Chart, and has since been certified gold in the UK. , is a Japanese metal idol group that was founded in 2013. History Passcode was formed in Osaka in 2013 and consists of the four vocalists Nao Minami, Kaede Takashima, Emily Arima and Hinako Ōgami. Passcode is supported by a backup band. After releasing several singles and albums on smaller labels, the group signed to Universal Music Japan and released their second full-length album ''Zenith'' in 2017. In 2018 the band signed with British record label JPU Records and released a best-of record called ''Ex Libris Passcode'' in Europe. Palisades is an American rock band from Iselin, New Jersey. Formed in 2008 as Marilyn Is Dead, they changed their name to Palisades in August 2011 and signed to Rise Records. Palisades has released five studio albums; ''Outcasts'' in 2012, '' Mind Games'' in 2015, a self-titled album in 2017, '' Erase the Pain'' in 2018, and their most recent '' Reaching Hypercritical'' on 22 July 2022. Jamie's Elsewhere are an American post-hardcore band formed in Sacramento, California, United States, in 2005. They were signed to Victory Records before deciding not to renew their contract with the label, and have released three full-length albums; ''Guidebook for Sinners Turned Saints'' in 2008, ''They Said a Storm Was Coming'' in 2010 and '' Rebel-Revive'' in 2014.
