List Of Diaspora Football Clubs In Sweden
The following is a List of diaspora football teams in Sweden. The Swedish football league system currently has ten levels, with the first five being governed by the Swedish Football Association. The sixth to tenth levels are controlled by regional associations. Only three diaspora football clubs have participated in Allsvenskan and Superettan, the highest and second highest football league in Sweden. Assyriska FF participated in Allsvenskan 2005, Syrianska FC in 2011, 2012 and 2013, and Dalkurd FF in 2018. Assyriska FF was the first diaspora football club to reach the second highest division, the highest division and the only one yet to reach a Svenska Cupen final, in 2003. Football Team
A football team is a group of players selected to play together in the various team sports known as football. Such teams could be selected to play in a match against an opposing team, to represent a football club, group, state or nation, an all-star team or even selected as a hypothetical team (such as a Dream Team or Team of the Century) and never play an actual match. The difference between a football team and a football club is incorporation, a football club is an entity which is formed and governed by a committee and has members which may consist of supporters in addition to players. Swedish Football Division 2
Division 2 is the fourth level in the league system of Swedish football and comprises 84 Swedish football teams. Division 2 had status as the official second level from 1928 to 1986 but was replaced by Division 1 in 1987. It then had status as the official third level until 2005 but was replaced once again by the recreated Division 1 in 2006. Overview In the Division, there are 84 clubs which are divided in six groups of 14 teams each representing a geographical area. During the course of a season (starting in April and ending in October) each club plays the others twice, once at their home stadium and once at that of their opponents, for a total of 26 games. Botkyrka
Botkyrka Municipality ( ) is a municipality in Stockholm County in east central Sweden, not far from the capital Stockholm. Its seat is located in the town of Tumba. In 1971 ''Grödinge'' was merged with Botkyrka and in 1974 ''Salem'' was added. The Salem part was split off again in 1983, and a new Salem Municipality was formed. Botkyrka has an estimated population of 91,925. History The municipality is named after Saint Botvid, a Christian missionary during the 12th century. Arameisk-Syrianska IF is a Swedish based football club in Botkyrka, a suburb of Stockholm. The club was formed as Arameiska-Syrianska KIF by Syriacs (Arameans) in 1980 and has advanced through the league system, currently (2017) playing in the third highest Swedish league, Division 1. In 2008, the club used the name ''Syrianska Botkyrka IF'' after having concluded a cooperation with Botkyrka municipality in early 2008. Örebro Syrianska IF is a Swedish football club from Örebro. History 1977 grew the first Syriac team in the Swedish sports movement. Örebro City became the first city to get a Syriac football club and is not much known. Football interests among people led to creating conditions for sports. The Örebro Syrianska was founded in the year 1977, just a few months earlier than its sibling association Syrianska FC Södertälje. Those first eight years played Örebro Syrianska If the raven series for as recently as 1986 to take the leap for the first time in the history of Division 6. Assyriska IK, also known as Assyriska Turabdin IK, is a Swedish football club based in Jönköping. The club was formed in 2009 by Assyrian immigrants from the Tur Abdin region in Turkey, and is currently playing in Division 1 Södra which is the third tier of Swedish football.
