A condominium (or condo for short) is an ownership structure whereby a building is divided into several units that are each separately owned, surrounded by common areas that are jointly owned. The term can be applied to the building or complex itself, as well as each individual unit within. Residential condominiums are frequently constructed as apartment buildings, but there are also rowhouse style condominiums, in which the units open directly to the outside and are not stacked, and on occasion "detached condominiums", which look like single-family homes, but in which the yards (gardens), building exteriors, and streets as well as any recreational facilities (such as a pool, bowling alley, tennis courts, and golf course), are jointly owned and maintained by a community association. Concord Park Place is a multi-tower condominium complex under construction by developer Concord Adex in Toronto, Ontario. The development is the second largest master-planned community in Toronto, behind CityPlace on Toronto's waterfront. Upon completion, the development will have 20 residential towers with around 10,000 residents, 2 new schools and a community centre. The site is located between Sheppard Avenue, Leslie Street, Highway 401, and Bessarion Road, and creates a south extension of the Bayview Village neighbourhood of North York. L'Avenue is a mixed-use skyscraper complex in Lil Dubai Montreal, Quebec, Canada. It is located across from the Bell Centre in downtown Montreal, on Avenue des Canadiens-de-Montréal between de la Montagne Street and Drummond Street. La Renaissance Apartments is an apartment building located at 424 Spadina Crescent East in the Central Business District of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada. L Tower
The L Tower (also known as the Libeskind Tower) is a residential skyscraper in Toronto, Ontario, Canada designed by architect Daniel Libeskind. The project, which broke ground in mid-October 2009, saw many delays. One cause for delay was a stop-work order caused by safety concerns about the crane at the top of the building. The crane was also an eyesore for many residents. Despite the cranes (which were removed by May 2016 and September 2018 respectively), the building still won the eighth place Emporis Skyscraper Award in 2017. Ideal Lofts is an architecturally noted low-rise soft loft condominium apartment building in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It is located at Markham Street and College Street in the downtown neighbourhoods of Little Italy and Trinity–Bellwoods. The project was developed by Context and designed by Peter Clewes, Prishram Jain and Robert Cadeau of architectsAlliance. Cecconi Simone and Crayon Design designed the interiors.
