Kanah
Kanah ( he, קָנָה, , reedy; brook of reeds) is a stream referred to in the Hebrew Bible forming the boundary between Ephraim and Manasseh, from the Mediterranean Sea eastward to Tappuah (). It has been identified with the sedgy streams that constitute the Wady Talaik, which enters the sea between Joppa and Caesarea Maritima. The stream rises in the Southwest of Shechem, flows through Wady Ishkar and joining Aujeh, reaches the sea not far to the north of Jaffa. Others identify it with the river Aujeh. The book of Joshua also refers to a town named Kanah in the north of the territory of the tribe of Asher (). It has been identified with 'Ain-Kana, a village on the brow of a valley some southeast of Tyre. About a mile north of this place are many colossal ruins strown about, and in the side of a neighbouring ravine are figures of men, women, and children cut in the face of the rock and supposed to be of Phoenician origin. Kadmonites
The Kadmonites ( ''Qaḏmōnī'') were, according to the Hebrew Bible, a tribe mentioned as inhabiting the land promised by God in a covenant to Abraham in . The tribe's identity is unknown. According to M.G. Eastons Bible Dictionary, the Kadmonites inhabited the northeastern part of Palestine, and it is supposed that they are identical to the "children of the east", which inhabited the land between Palestine and the Euphrat. According to the ''Jewish Encyclopedia'', R. Judah b. Hai identified the Kadmonites with the Nabateans. ''Encyclopaedia Judaica'' writes that opinions diverge as to the identity of the tribes of the Kenites, Kenizzites and Kadmonites: a plausible interpretation laid forward by R. Judah is that they were Arab tribes bordering Canaan; another interpretation by R. Eliezer is that the tribes refer to Asia Minor, Thrace and Carthage Carthage was the capital city of Ancient Carthage, on the eastern side of the Lake of Tunis in what is now Tunisia. Carthage was ...

Kadesh (biblical)
Kadesh or Qadesh or Cades (in classical Hebrew he, קָדֵשׁ, from the root "holy") is a place-name that occurs several times in the Hebrew Bible, describing a site or sites located south of, or at the southern border of, Canaan and the Kingdom of Judah in the kingdom of Israel. Many modern academics hold that it was a single site, located at the modern Tel el-Qudeirat, while some academics and rabbinical authorities hold that there were two locations named Kadesh. A related term, either synonymous with Kadesh or referring to one of the two sites, is Kadesh (or Qadesh) Barnea. Various etymologies for ''Barnea'' have been proposed, including 'desert of wanderings,' but none have produced widespread agreement. The Bible mentions Kadesh and/or Kadesh Barnea in a number of episodes, making it an important site (or sites) in narratives concerning Israelite origins. Kadesh was the chief site of encampment for the Israelites during their wandering in the Zin Desert ( Deuteronomy 1 ...
