This is a list of association football families. The countries are listed according to the national teams of the senior family member if the other family member played for a different country. If the senior members of the given member did not play international football, the family will be listed according to nationality (e.g., the Trézéguets). ;Families included on the list must have: # at least, one member of the family is capped by a national team on the senior level or an important person in the game of football (e.g., notable coaches, referees, club chairmen, etc.) # a second member must be a professional player or capped by a national team on the senior level. Association Football
Association football, more commonly known as football or soccer, is a team sport played between two teams of 11 players who primarily use their feet to propel the ball around a rectangular field called a pitch. The objective of the game is to score more goals than the opposition by moving the ball beyond the goal line into a rectangular framed goal defended by the opposing side. Sergio Batista
Sergio Daniel "Checho" Batista (; born 9 November 1962) is an Argentine football manager and former international player. As a footballer he played as a midfield for Argentinos Juniors, River Plate, Nueva Chicago, Tosu Futures and All Boys. He represented his national team 39 times from 1985 to 1990 where the team won the 1986 FIFA World Cup. Gustavo Barros Schelotto (born 4 May 1973) is an Argentine former footballer who played as a midfielder. He was the assistant manager of LA Galaxy. Playing career Born in La Plata, Barros Schelotto came through the youth system at Club de Gimnasia y Esgrima La Plata with his twin brother Guillermo. Guillermo Barros Schelotto (; born 4 May 1973) is an Argentine football manager and former forward who currently manages the Paraguay national team. Barros Schelotto played 16 years of his professional career in the Argentine Primera División (6 with Gimnasia La Plata and 10 with Boca Juniors). With these two teams, he won a total 17 official titles (one with Gimnasia and 16 with Boca). Emilio Badini (, ; 4 August 1897 – 4 August 1956) was an Italian Argentine professional footballer who played as a midfielder. Biography Badini was born in Rosario, Santa Fe Argentina and had Argentine citizenship but represented Italy internationally, thanks to his Bolognese parents.
