Zee One is a general entertainment channel in Germany which was launched at 8pm on 28 July 2016. It brought a wide variety of Bollywood productions to Germany, such as series, musicals, comedies, drama films, romantic films, family films and music videos. The station was a commercial free-to-air TV station, with regular programming being interrupted by commercial breaks. The channel ceased broadcasting on 31 May 2020. Zee Bangla is an Indian Bengali-language general entertainment pay television channel owned by Zee Entertainment Enterprises. History The channel was launched on 15 September 1999 as ''Alpha TV Bangla'', along with Alpha TV Marathi, Alpha TV Telugu and Alpha TV Punjabi. Peace TV is an Emirati satellite television, satellite television network that broadcasts free-to-air programming. It is one of the world's largest religious satellite television networks. On 21 January 2006, Zakir Naik created the network, which is based in Dubai. The network has broadcast all over the world. Naik regards the network as a 'edutainment' channel.
