Lingayen Gulf
Lingayen Gulf is a large gulf on northwestern Luzon in the Philippines, stretching . It is framed by the provinces of Pangasinan and La Union and sits between the Zambales Mountains and the Cordillera Central (Luzon), Cordillera Central. The Agno River and the Balili River drain into Lingayen Gulf. Geography The gulf has numerous islands, the most famous of which are in the Hundred Islands National Park. This tourist attraction features 123 islands, the majority of which are small in size. The largest island is Cabarruyan Island, which constitutes the municipality of Anda, Pangasinan, followed by Santiago Island at the mouth of the Gulf. San Fabian, Pangasinan
San Fabian, officially the Municipality of San Fabian (; ; ; ), is a municipality of the Philippines, municipality in the Philippine Province, province of Pangasinan, Philippines. According to the 2020 census, it has a population of 87,428 people. Etymology The town got its name after Saint Fabian during the History of the Philippines (1565–1898), Spanish era. History The town used to be called Angio, and had been a mission territory of friars of the Dominican Order during the Spanish era. It is named after Saint Fabian, who was a pontiff and saint of the Roman Catholic Church. Around 1818, San Fabian had a boundary dispute with Mangaldan. Dagupan
Dagupan , officially the City of Dagupan (, , ), is a 2nd class independent component city in the Ilocos Region, Philippines. According to the 2020 census, it had a population of 174,302 people. Located on Lingayen Gulf on the northwest-central part of Luzon, Dagupan is the primary commercial and financial center of Pangasinan. The city is also one of the centers of modern medical services, education, media and communication in North-Central Luzon. Balili River
The Balili River, also known as the Naguilian River, is a river in the provinces of Benguet and La Union on the island of Luzon, Philippines. With a total length of , it traverses the city of Baguio, and the municipalities of La Trinidad, Benguet, La Trinidad and Sablan, Benguet, Sablan before entering the province of La Union, where the midstream and downstream is called the Naguilian River. Cordillera Central (Luzon)
The Cordillera Central or Cordillera Range is a massive mountain range long north–south and east-west situated in the north-central part of the island of Luzon, in the Philippines. The Zambales Mountains is a mountain range in western Luzon. The mountains spread along a north-south axis, separating Luzon's central plain from the South China Sea. The range extends into five Provinces of the Philippines, provinces: Zambales, Pangasinan, Tarlac, Pampanga, and Bataan. La Union (), officially the Province of La Union (; ; ; ; ; ), is a coastal province in the Philippines situated in the Ilocos Region on the island of Luzon. Sual, officially the Municipality of Sual (; ; ), is a municipality in the province of Pangasinan, Philippines. According to the 2020 census, it has a population of 39,091 people.
