Legend Of A Fighter
''Legend of a Fighter'' (in Chinese 霍元甲) is a 1982 Hong Kong martial arts film directed by Yuen Woo-ping, and produced by Ng See-yuen, who also wrote the screenplay with Leung Lap-yan and Wong Jing. The film stars Bryan Leung, Yasuaki Kurata, Yuen Yat-choh, Philip Ko, Yuen Cheung-yan, Brandy Yuen and Steve Lee. The film is based on the story of Chinese martial artist Huo Yuanjia (Cantonese: Fok Yuen-kap 霍元甲). Plot Bryan Leung is portrayed as the historical figure Fok Yuen-kap in this action film. As the fourth of Fok Yan-tai's children Fok Yuen-kap was born weak and susceptible to illness. Fok Yuen-kap had asthma at an early age and contracted jaundice; his father discouraged him from learning martial arts. Mizongyi
Mízōngyì (), or simply Mízōng, is a style of Chinese martial art based on deception and mobility. Mizong is also known as Mízōngquán ( or sometimes "Labyrinthine Boxing" stressing the deceptive nature of the art) and Yànqīngquán (). There are many sub-branches of this style. Mizong Luohan () is a combination of two styles: Mízōngquán and Luóhànquán. Through Luóhànquán, its lineage can be traced back to the Shaolin temple during the time of the Tang Dynasty (618–907). As an external northern Chinese style, Mizong belongs to the " Long Fist" family of martial arts although in some traditions Mizong is considered an internal art, created by Yue Fei, and taught as a precursor system to Hsing I Ch'uan. Fung Fung
Fung Fung (; 1 December 1916 – 16 February 2000) was a veteran Hong Kong actor. He began his career as a leading man in 1946. An accident in 1949 left the left side of his face paralysed, but, while no longer able to attract leading roles, he enjoyed a long career as a character actor, appearing in films alongside such stars as Jackie Chan and Sammo Hung. He was the father of Fung Bo Bo, a child star of the 1960s, Alice Fung, a veteran actress, and Fung Hak-On, an actor known for playing villainous roles in several kung fu/action comedies of the 1970s and 1980s. Yuen Siu-tien () (27 November 1912 – 8 January 1979) (also known as Yuan Xiaotian, Simon Yuen, Sam Seed or "Ol' Dirty") was a Hong Kong actor and martial artist. in the late 1970s, Yuen is perhaps best known as Beggar So (a.k.a. Sam Seed) in three films: ''Drunken Master'', ''Story of Drunken Master'' and his final film ''Dance of the Drunk Mantis''.
