Legacy Of Sound (Swedish Group)
Legacy of Sound was a Swedish band, which was active in the early 1990s. Members of the band included singer Meja Kullersten (before her successful solo career), Anders "Bag" Bagge, James Gicho, Lori Perry, Nevada Cato, and Peter Swartling. Legacy of Sound released two albums, ''Holy Groove'' (1993), with the popular single "Happy", and ''Tour de Force'' (1994). "Happy" was a surprise hit in the United States, peaking at #29 on the Billboard Mainstream Top 40 and spending 12 weeks on the Billboard Hot 100. Meja
Meja Anna Pernilla Kullersten (formerly Beckman; born Anna Pernilla Torndahl, 12 February 1969) is a Swedish composer, artist and singer. Among her best known songs are "Private Emotion", a duet with Ricky Martin from his multi-Platinum album ''Ricky Martin'' (1999), and "All 'Bout the Money", which was nominated for a Grammy Award in 1998. Biography Meja was born Anna Pernilla Torndahl in Nynäshamn, Stockholm County. She had her stage debut at "Ystads City theatre" at the age of 7. She was brought up in a musical family, her grandfather, Per Lundkvist, was a composer of both classical and contemporary music and her mother, a recording artist as a child before choosing a path as a painter. Anders "Bag" Bagge
Sven Anders Bagge (; born 16 January 1968) is a Swedish composer, lyricist, musician and record producer and partner with Peer Åström. The two songwriters / producers are known as Bagge & Peer. Bagge is also one of jury members for the TV4 singing show Idol from 2008 and onwards. Bagge is co-founder and co-owner with partner Christian Wahlberg of the Stockholm-based Murlyn Music Group AB, the international music production company they established in 1998. He participated in Melodifestivalen 2022, finishing in 2nd place, although winning the public’s vote. Early years Anders Bagge's father Sven Olof Bagge was a producer from the 1950s to the 1980s. Peter Swartling
Peter Swartling (born 18 November 1964) was one of the Swedish judges on the TV talent show ''Idol'' on TV4. He made it clear that he wouldn't participate in the fourth season of ''Idol'' due to him being forced to commute between Sweden and United States, where he currently lives. However, despite this, he remains to be a judge on the show. He is considered to be one of the most successful talent scouts and producers in Swedish music and is behind the breakthrough of artists like Robyn, Petter and Just D.
