Bahujan Samaj Party
The Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) is a national level political party in India that was formed to represent Bahujans (literally means "community in majority"), referring to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, and Other Backward Classes (OBC), along with religious minorities. According to Kanshi Ram, when he founded the party in 1984, the Bahujans comprised 85 percent of India's population, but were divided into 6,000 different castes. Elections to the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly were held in phases, in February and May 1985, to elect members of the 425 constituencies in Uttar Pradesh, India. The 2012 Uttarakhand Legislative Assembly election were the 3rd Vidhan Sabha ( Legislative Assembly) election of the state of Uttarakhand in India. Pranav Singh (born 6 April 1966). He is a Member of the Legislative assembly of the Uttarakhand Legislative Assembly in India.
