Deutsche Lufthansa AG (), trading as the Lufthansa Group, is a German aviation group. Lufthansa CityLine Gesellschaft mit beschränkter Haftung, GmbH is a German regional airline with its headquarters on the grounds of Munich Airport. Lufthansa Fleet
Lufthansa operates a mainline fleet consisting of Airbus narrow and wide-body and Boeing wide-body aircraft. The mainline fleet is composed of seven different aircraft families: the Airbus A320 and A320neo families, Airbus A330, Airbus A340, Airbus A350, Airbus A380, Boeing 747 and Boeing 787. Carsten Spohr (born 16 December 1966) is a German airline executive. Since May 2014 he has been the chairman and chief executive officer (CEO) of Lufthansa. Education After graduating with a degree in industrial engineering and management from the University of Karlsruhe (now part of the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology), Spohr obtained a commercial pilot's license at Lufthansa Flight Training in Bremen and the Airline Training Center Arizona.
