Jiangxi
Jiangxi (; ; formerly romanized as Kiangsi or Chianghsi) is a landlocked province in the east of the People's Republic of China. Its major cities include Nanchang and Jiujiang. Spanning from the banks of the Yangtze river in the north into hillier areas in the south and east, it shares a border with Anhui to the north, Zhejiang to the northeast, Fujian to the east, Guangdong to the south, Hunan to the west, and Hubei to the northwest. Hongcheng is a town of Yongdeng County, Lanzhou, Gansu, China. It is located along the east bank of the Zhuanglang River, a left tributary of the Yellow River. Poyang County is a county under the administration of Shangrao city in the northeast of Jiangxi Province of the People's Republic of China, bordering Anhui Province to the north. It is located on the eastern side of Lake Poyang. History The area was known as Po under the Chu state during the Warring States period. Under the Qin, the area was organized as Poyang County () and placed under the administration of Jiujiang. Po was entrusted to the Yue leader Wu Rui.
