2025 WNBA Season
The 2025 WNBA season is the ongoing 29th season of the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA). The regular season began on May 16, 2025, and is scheduled to end on September 11. The fifth edition of the WNBA Commissioner's Cup will be held from June 1 to July 1. The 2025 WNBA All-Star Game will be held on July 19, 2025, at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis. The playoffs is then scheduled to be played from September 11, and conclude with the WNBA Finals in October. For the first time, the Finals will use a best-of-seven format. The league expanded from 12 to 13 teams with the addition of the Golden State Valkyries, who were first announced in 2023. The Valkyries were the league's first expansion team since the Atlanta Dream in 2008 WNBA season, 2008. Rosalyn Gold-Onwude
Rosalyn Fatima Gold-Onwude (; born April 28, 1987) is an American-Nigerian sports broadcaster. A native of New York City, Gold-Onwude played college basketball at Stanford and played on the Nigeria national team. Gold-Onwude covers NBA basketball on ESPN's TV, digital, and radio platforms and is a fill-in host of First Take with Stephen A. Smith each week. Since 2012 Gold-Onwude has covered March Madness, the NCAA tournament and Pac-12 Men's and Women's college hoops in both the analyst and reporter role for Pac-12 Networks. Most recently Gold-Onwude has joined forces with Kevin Durant's and Rich Kleiman's 35 Ventures as one of the faces of "The Boardroom". KFAA-TV
KFAA-TV (channel 29) is an independent television station licensed to Decatur, Texas, United States, serving the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex. It is owned by Tegna Inc. alongside ABC affiliate WFAA (channel 8). The two stations are based at the WFAA Communications Center Studios in Downtown Dallas, with transmitter in Cedar Hill, Texas. Channel 29 went on the air as KMPX in 1993 and was the original flagship station of the Daystar Television Network, a Christian ministry that operated from headquarters in the Dallas suburb of Colleyville and later Bedford. In 2003, Daystar acquired KDTN (channel 2) and sold KMPX to Liberman Broadcasting. Under Liberman, the station was a Spanish-language outlet, first as an independent station and later as the Dallas-area affiliate of Liberman's Estrella TV network. Tiffany Bias
Tiffany Christine Bias (born May 22, 1992) is an American-Thai professional basketball player who last played for the New York Liberty of the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA). She was selected in the second round of the 2014 WNBA draft, 17th overall. High school career Bias attended Andover Central High School where she was a multiple sport athlete. During her sophomore year she led the girls basketball team to a 26–0 record, along with a Class 4A state title. In her junior year Tiffany set the state tournament scoring record with 89 points, while helped her team to a third-place finish tournament. In her senior year Bias once again led her team to another state title, this time finishing with a 25–0 record. Bias was a three-year captain for the girls basketball team. Fran Harris
Fran Harris (born March 12, 1965, in Dallas, Texas) is an American television personality, sportscaster, and former professional and college basketball player who has won championships in high school, in college, and in the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA). After not playing competitively for nearly 8 years, she beat out more than 200 athletes to earn a spot in the inaugural season of the WNBA for the Houston Comets. Harris played basketball at The University of Texas, where she captained the team that won the 1986 national championship and led the team to the first ever NCAA undefeated season going 34–0. Nancy Ilizabeth Lieberman (born July 1, 1958), nicknamed "Lady Magic", is an American former professional basketball player and coach in the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA) who is currently a broadcaster for the Oklahoma City Thunder of the National Basketball Association (NBA) as well as the head coach of Power (basketball), Power, a team in the BIG3 which she led to its 2018 Championship. The Dallas Wings are an American professional basketball team based in the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex. WETM-TV (channel 18) is a television station in Elmira, New York, United States, affiliated with NBC and owned by Nexstar Media Group. The station's studios are located on East Water Street in downtown Elmira, and its transmitter is located on Hawley Hill in Big Flats, New York. WFNI (1070 AM broadcasting, AM) is a commercial radio, commercial Radio broadcasting, radio station licensed to Indianapolis, Indianapolis, Indiana. It is owned by the Emmis Corporation but is usually off the air. WFNI carried a sports radio, sports radio format, featuring ESPN Radio programming. The studios and offices are located at 40 Monument Circle in downtown Indianapolis.
