Lessons In Love (Lloyd Album)
''Lessons in Love'' is the third studio album by American singer Lloyd, released by Young Goldie Music, Sho'Nuff Records, The Inc. Records, and Universal Motown on August 4, 2008. This is the last album to be released on The Inc. Records. Production The album was originally to be titled ''Sexual Education'' but was later changed to ''Lessons in Love'' for a more suitable title. Lloyd describe the album as '"The title concept derives from a schoolboy fantasy of mine". Following their participation on previous album ''Street Love'' (2007), the singer re-teamed with producers Big Reese and Jasper Cameron to work on the majority of the album, with additional production resulting from collaborations with Polow Da Don, Adonis Shropshire, James Lackey, Oak Felder (of the Knightwritaz), and others. Lloyd (singer)
Lloyd Polite Jr. (born January 3, 1986), is an American R&B singer. Born in New Orleans and raised in Decatur, he initially began his musical career as a member of the preteen-boy band N-Toon. The band disbanded in 2001 and Polite embarked on a solo career in 2003. He subsequently signed a record deal with American music executive Irv Gotti's Murder Inc. Records, under the aegis of Def Jam Recordings. In 2004, Polite released his solo debut single " Southside" (featuring Ashanti), the title-track from his debut album, '' Southside'' (2004). The single quickly charted on the US ''Billboard'' Hot 100, and became a top 40 hit. Murder, Inc. (Murder, Incorporated) was an organized crime group, active from 1929 to 1941, that acted as the enforcement arm of the National Crime Syndicatea closely connected criminal organization that included the Italian-American Mafia, the Jewish Mob, and other criminal organizations in New York City and elsewhere. It catalogs more than three million album entries and 30 million tracks, as well as information on musicians and bands. Algernod Lanier Washington (born July 1, 1976), better known by his stage name Plies, is an American rapper. Born in Fort Myers, Florida, Plies was a wide receiver on the Miami Redskins football team of Miami University in Ohio in 1996 and 1997 before beginning his musical career. After dropping out of college, he was signed to Slip-n-Slide Records, he released four studio albums from 2007 until 2010.
