Laosaurus Gracilis
''Laosaurus'' (meaning "stone or fossil lizard") is a genus of neornithischian dinosaur. The type species, ''Laosaurus celer'', was first described by Othniel Charles Marsh, O.C. Marsh in 1878 from remains from the Oxfordian stage, Oxfordian-Tithonian-age Upper Jurassic Morrison Formation of Wyoming. The validity of this genus is doubtful because it is based on fragmentary fossils. A second species from the Morrison Formation, ''L. gracilis'', and a species from the late Cretaceous Allison Formation of Alberta, Canada, ''Laosaurus minimus'', are also considered nomen dubium, dubious. History and taxonomy Marsh (1878a) named his new genus from vertebrae (Peabody Museum of Natural History, YPM 1874) found by Samuel Wendell Williston at Como Bluff, Wyoming, from rocks of the Morrison Formation. The holotype, type material includes nine partial and two complete tail body of vertebra, vertebral centra, which he concluded came from a "fox-sized" animal. In the same year, he named ...

D'Albertis' python (''Leiopython albertisii''), also known commonly as D'Albert's water python or the northern white-lipped python, is a species of python, a non-venomous snake in the family Pythonidae. The species is endemic to New Guinea. There are no subspecies that are recognized as being valid. Geographic range and habitat ''L. albertisii'' is found in most of New Guinea below , including the islands of Salawati and Biak, Normanby, Mussau and Emirau, as well as a few islands in the Torres Strait. Leptoceratops Gracilis
''Leptoceratops'' (meaning 'Thin-horned face' and derived from Greek ''lepto-/λεπτο-'' meaning 'small', 'insignificant', 'slender', 'meagre' or 'lean', ''kerat-/κερατ-'' meaning 'horn' and ''-ops/ωψ'' meaning face), is a genus of leptoceratopsid ceratopsian dinosaurs from the late Cretaceous Period (late Maastrichtian age, 68.8-66 Ma ago) of what is now Western North America. Their skulls have been found in Alberta, Canada and Wyoming. Description ''Leptoceratops'' could probably stand and run on their hind legs: analysis of forelimb function indicates that even though they could not pronate their hands, they could walk on four legs. Paul proposed that ''Leptoceratops'' was around long and could have weighed , but Tereschenko proposed a maximum length of . Discovery and species The first small ceratopsian named ''Leptoceratops'' was discovered in 1910 by Barnum Brown in the Red Deer Valley in Alberta, Canada. He described it four years later. The first specime ...

Leptolalax Gracilis
''Leptolalax gracilis'' is a frog species in the family Megophryidae. It is endemic to northern Borneo: Brunei, Kalimantan (Indonesia), and Sarawak (Malaysia). Earlier record from the Malay Peninsula and Thailand refer to other species (at least '' Leptolalax platycephalus'', an unnamed species, and possibly '' Leptolalax melanoleucus''). Its natural habitats are tropical moist lowland forests, moist montane forests, and rivers. It is becoming rare due to habitat loss Habitat destruction (also termed habitat loss and habitat reduction) is the process by which a natural habitat becomes incapable of supporting its native species. The organisms that previously inhabited the site are displaced or dead, thereby .... Leptosomus Gracilis
The cuckoo-roller or courol (''Leptosomus discolor'')del Hoyo, J. Elliott, A. & Sargatal, J. (2001) is the only bird in the family Leptosomidae , which was previously often placed in the order Coraciiformes but is now placed in its own order Leptosomiformes. The cuckoo-roller is at the root of a group that contains the Trogoniformes, Bucerotiformes, Piciformes, and Coraciiformes. Despite its name, the Cuckoo-roller does not share close evolutionary origins with cuckoo or rollers at all. It is a medium-large bird, inhabiting forests and woodlands in Madagascar and the Comoro Islands. Three subspecies are described: the nominate ''L. d. discolor'' is found in Madagascar and Mayotte Island, ''L. d. intermedius'' on Anjouan, and ''L. d. gracilis'' of Grand Comoro. Based on its smaller size, differences in the plumage, and minor difference in the voice, the last of these is sometimes considered a separate species, the Comoro cuckoo-roller (''L. gracilis''). Description The cuckoo- ...
