L'entourage
L'entourage () is a French hip hop crew composed of several bands and solo artists founded in 2008. The members emanated from the battle-rap contest Rap Contenders as well as support of many artists and bands. The collective's first studio album ''"Jeunes Entrepreneurs"'' was launched by Believe Recordings on 26 May 2014 with a premier concert at the Paris Olympia on 14 June 2014 with all members of the collective on stage. Members Nekfeu is a main contributor. The collective also includes three of his S-Crew: 2zer, Framal, and Mekra. Nekfeu, Alpha Wann, and Fonky Flav' are also from the earlier rap formation 1995. Nekfeu
Ken Samaras (, ; born 3 April 1990), better known by his stage name Nekfeu (), is a French rapper, actor and record producer. He is also a member of the bands L'entourage and 1995. He started his career as a member of $-Crew, with childhood friends Framal, Mekra, 2zer Washington and DJ Elite. He joined 1995 in 2007, participating in open mic duels around Paris. Early life and career Samaras was born in La Trinité, a commune within the Nice metropolitan area, to a father of Greek descent and a mother of Scottish descent. At the age of 11, he and his family moved to the 15th arrondissement of Paris. After two extended plays with 1995 (''Aurélie'' in 2011 and ''Anais'' in 2012), as well as the studio album ''Paris Sud Minute'' in 2013, Nekfeu released his debut studio album '' Feu'' on 8 June 2015, for which he won Best Urban Music Album at the Victoires de la musique in February 2016, as well as ''Destins Liés'' with $-Crew in June 2016. Alpha Wann
Alpha Omar Wann (; born 2 July 1989), also known as Phaal or Philly Phaal, is a French rapper and songwriter, and was the main member of the band 1995 that also included Nekfeu, Areno Jaz, Fonky Flav', Sneazzy and DJ Lo' (aka Hologramme Lo'). He was also member of the band L'entourage. He is the founder of Don Dada Records, and he signed to Universal Music Universal Music Group N.V. (often abbreviated as UMG and referred to as just Universal Music) is a Dutch– American multinational music corporation under Dutch law. 1995 (band)
1995 is a French rap group founded in 2008 in the southern part of Paris as P.O.S. The name was changed to "1995" in 2010 in reference to the year 1995, considered a "golden year" for French rap. The six-member group is composed of 5 rappers and one producer all coming from the 14th and 15th arrondissements in Paris. 1995 are influenced by the spontaneous and positive vibes from the 1990 French rap. The band name is pronounced in various formats like "Mille neuf cent quatre vingt quinze" or "Dix neuf quatre vingt quinze" or "un, neuf, neuf, cinq" () or "un, double neuf, cinq" (). Despite offers for signing, the band has remained strongly independent (in French) through their own "Undoubleneufcinq" label (meaning onedoubleninefive). Ultratop
Ultratop is an organization which generates and publishes the official record charts in Belgium. Ultratop is a non-profit organization, created on the initiative of the Belgian Entertainment Association (BEA), the Belgian member organization of the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry. Two parallel sets of charts are concurrently produced and published, one on behalf of Belgium's mainly Dutch-speaking Flanders region, and the other catering to the nation's mainly French-speaking region of Wallonia.
