	Kitaab ''Kitaab'' (''English: The Book'') is a 1977 Indian drama film written and directed by Gulzar. The film stars Uttam Kumar, Vidya Sinha, Shreeram Lagoo, Keshto Mukherjee and Asit Sen. 	Kithaab ''Kithaab'', also ''Kitab'' (), is a Malayalam-language play featuring a humorous portrayal of a young girl who dreams of calling out the Azaan (''vaang''), the Islamic call to worship normally recited by a male muezzin or mukri. The girl questions the subjugation of women in her community, and rebels against community norms by dancing with her friends, stealing food denied to her, and demanding the opportunity to call the vaang. The play is written by scriptwriter-director Rafeeq Mangalassery. 	Khitab Khattab ( ar, خطاب, also spelled Khutab or Khattab) is a town in northwestern Syria, administratively part of the Hama Governorate, northwest of Hama located near the Orontes River River.
