Keith Osgood
Keith Osgood (born 8 May 1955) is an English former professional footballer who played for Tottenham Hotspur, Coventry City, Derby County, Leyton Orient, HJK and Cambridge and represented the England team at youth and schoolboy level. Football career Osgood joined Tottenham as an apprentice in May 1972. The solid central defender played 127 matches for the club, including one as substitute, and scored on 14 occasions between 1973 and 1977. Thirteen of his Spurs goals came in the League, of which 10 were penalties; the other was scored in a 4–0 home win against Wimbledon in the 2nd round of the League Cup in season 1977–78, once again from the penalty spot. Osgood was a member of the team that was relegated at the end of season 1976–1977, the beginning of the Keith Burkinshaw managerial era. Isleworth ( ) is a town located within the London Borough of Hounslow in West London, England. It lies immediately east of the town of Hounslow and west of the River Thames and its tributary the River Crane, London, River Crane. This year The Football League revamped the tie-breaking criteria for teams level on points, replacing the traditional goal average tie-breaker with one based on goal difference to try to encourage more scoring. Baseball Ground
The Baseball Ground (sometimes referred to as the BBG) was a stadium in Derby, England. It was first used for baseball as the home of Derby Baseball Club from 1890 until 1898 and then for football as the home of Derby County from 1895 until 1997. The club's reserve and youth sides used it until 2003, when it finally closed as a sports stadium after 113 years (108 of them as a football stadium) and was demolished. History As the name suggests, the stadium was originally used for baseball. It was originally called Ley's Baseball Ground and was part of a complex of sports grounds (Ley's Recreation Centre) built and owned by businessman Sir Francis Ley for workers at his foundry, Ley's Malleable Castings Vulcan Ironworks. Keith Burkinshaw
Harry Keith Burkinshaw (born 23 June 1935) is an English former professional footballer and football manager. He is one of the most successful managers of Tottenham Hotspur, winning 3 major trophies for the club as manager there. Playing career Burkinshaw was born in Higham, Barnsley, West Riding of Yorkshire, and began his footballing career with Midland League side Denaby United while working at Dodworth Colliery. He had a brief spell as an amateur with Wolverhampton Wanderers before joining Liverpool in November 1953. He played just once for Liverpool, against Port Vale in April 1955, moving to Workington in December 1957 for a fee of £3,000. He was player-manager of Workington between November 1964 and March 1965, leaving to join Scunthorpe United in May 1965, having played 293 league games for Workington.
