Sim Sim Hamara
''SimSim Humara'' (Urdu: , also known as ''Sim Sim Hamara''; meaning ''Our Sim Sim'') is the Pakistani version of the children's television series ''Sesame Street''. It is produced by Pakistan Children's Television and Rafi Peer Theatre (based in Lahore). History The show has been viewed in Pakistan before, in the early 1990s, although it was in English and the characters and context could only be understood by a westernised minority of Pakistani children. In April 2011, USAID announced that it would fund $20 million to start a local version of ''Sesame Street'' in Pakistan. ''Sesame Street'' has had many co-productions around the world and the one in Pakistan is the first localised version in the country itself. ''Aur Zindagi Badalti Hai'' is a Pakistani television series directed by Mehreen Jabbar and produced by Sultana Siddiqui. It is based on a short story by Nadia Jamil and was written by Nasreen Rahman. It stars Sania Saeed, Nadia Jamil, Humayun Saeed, and Faisal Rehman. The 13-episodes series originally broadcast on Pakistan Television Corporation in 2000. At the 1st Lux Style Awards, it received the Best TV Play nomination. Aroosa ( ur, , lit=Bride) is a 1994 Pakistani television series that aired on PTV written by Fatima Surayya Bajia based on the novel ''Aroosa'' which was written by Zubaida Khatoon and directed by Qasim Jalali. It was the debut serial of Adnan Siddiqui and Mishi Khan. ''Anokha Ladla'' ( ur, انوکھا لاڈلا, lit=Unusual Darling) is a Pakistani television drama series which ran for three seasons from 2010 to 2013 on PTV Home. The first season was directed by Aamir Yousuf while second and third season was directed by Muhammad Ashar Asghar. The series was co-produced by Saleem Sheikh, who also starred in the series as main character of Meedu. ''Ankahi'' ( ur, , lit=Unsaid) is an Urdu television drama serial broadcast by PTV in 1982 as is now considered as a cult-classic. It was written by Haseena Moin and directed by Shoaib Mansoor and Mohsin Ali. The drama serial featured an ensemble star cast including Shehnaz Sheikh, Shakeel, Javed Sheikh, Saleem Nasir, Jamshed Ansari, Behroze Sabzwari, Badar Khalil, Qazi Wajid, Azra Mansoor, Khalid Nizami, Arshad Mehmood, Tabassum Farooqui and Faisal Bilal. ''Angar Wadi'' ( ur, انگار وادی) is a Pakistani television play/drama. It was aired by PTV in 1994, and comprises 18 episodes. It was directed by Tariq Mairaj, written and produced by Abdul Rauf Khalid. Plot ''Captain Hamza'' is an Indian Army Captain and a Kashmiri by origin. His family consists of his father Shafi, his mother, a younger sister Nazo and an elder brother Talha who is a highly skilled surgeon and a lecturer at Gandhi Medical College, Delhi. After conflicts with the administration, he resigns from there and opens up a clinic for the poor but is persecuted for allegedly treating militants.
