João Paulo Silva Martins (born 29 June 1995), known as João Paulo (), is a Brazilian footballer who plays for Santos as a goalkeeper. Club career Santos Born in Dourados, Mato Grosso do Sul, João Paulo joined Santos' youth setup in late 2011, after representing Grêmio Sãocarlense, Itaporã (where he was a part of the first team squad at the age of just 16), Grêmio (where he spent just four months) and Sete de Setembro. In 2014, after winning the year's Copa São Paulo de Futebol Júnior, he was promoted to the first team by manager Oswaldo de Oliveira. In March 2015, after Vanderlei's injury, João Paulo was inscribed in the year's Campeonato Paulista as a third-choice behind Vladimir and Gabriel Gasparotto. Gabriel Bordinhão Gasparotto (born 9 December 1993) is a Brazilian footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for Figueirense. Club career Born in Lucélia, São Paulo, Gasparotto joined Santos FC's youth setup in 2009, aged 16. He was promoted to the main squad in February 2013, being hazed by Neymar. Late in the month Gasparotto suffered a knee injury, returning to action in April. On 24 September 2013 he renewed his link with the club, until 2016. On 16 January 2016, Gasparotto extended his link for a further year, and was immediately loaned to Capivariano until the end of 2016 Campeonato Paulista. The 2016 season is Santos Futebol Clube's 104th season in existence and the club's fifty-seventh consecutive season in the top flight of Brazilian football.
