Jorge Barlin Y Imperial
Jorge Barlin (April 23, 1850 – September 4, 1909) also known as Jorge Barlin Imperial, Jorge Alfonso Imperial Barlin and Jorge Barlin e Imperial following Spanish naming customs, was the first Filipino consecrated a bishop in the Roman Catholic Church. He served as bishop of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Caceres (then called Diocese of Nueva Caceres) in the Philippines until 1909. He was the first Filipino and Bicolano bishop and was parish priest and vicar forane of Sorsogon from 1887 to 1906. The Most Reverend is a style applied to certain religious figures, primarily within the historic denominations of Christianity, but occasionally in some more modern traditions also. It is a variant of the more common style "The Reverend". Frederick Zadok Rooker
Frederick Zadok Rooker was the first American Bishop of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Jaro in the Philippines, from 12 June 1903 until his death on 18 September 1907. He was born in New York City, on 19 September 1861, son of a journalist and night editor of the New York Tribune Myron Holley Rooker, who married Margaret Coleman. As a boy, he attended public school in Albany, New York. Later, he studied civil engineering and Latin at the Union College in Schenectady, New York. Jeremiah James Harty S. J. (November 5, 1853 – October 29, 1927) was an American prelate of the Catholic Church. He served as the 26th archbishop of the Archdiocese of Manila in the Philippines from 1903 to 1916. He later served as bishop (with the personal title of archbishop) of the Diocese of Omaha in Nebraska from 1916 until his death in 1927.
