Joan Walsh
Joan Maureen Walsh (born September 18, 1958) is a liberal American political pundit and journalist. Walsh is national affairs correspondent for ''The Nation,'' and was previously an on-air political analyst at CNN and MSNBC. She produced the 2020 documentary ''The Sit In: Harry Belafonte Hosts The Tonight Show.'' She is a former editor-in-chief of ''Salon'' and author of the book ''What's the Matter with White People?'' Early life and education Walsh was born in Brooklyn, New York to an Irish Catholic family. In 1960, her family moved to Oceanside, Long Island. She has one brother and one sister. Nicolas Joseph Hanauer (born September 2, 1959) is an American entrepreneur and venture capitalist. Business career Hanauer was born to a Jewish secularism, secular Jewish family in New York City and raised in Bellevue, Washington. Stoneman Douglas High School Shooting
On February 14, 2018, a mass shooting occurred when 19-year-old Nikolas Cruz opened fire on students and staff at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School, part of the Miami metropolitan area, Parkland, Florida, killing 17 people and injuring 18 others. Cruz, a former student at the school, fled the scene on foot by blending in with other students and was arrested without incident approximately one hour and twenty minutes later in nearby Coral Springs, Florida, Coral Springs. Kyle Kashuv (born May 20, 2001) is an American conservative activist. He survived the 2018 Stoneman Douglas High School shooting and subsequently advocated for gun rights, notably in opposition to his fellow survivors' March for Our Lives movement.
